Let Me Tell You My Story
Ibertours is my way of showing Madrid differently, not as a tour, but as an experience where every step has a story behind it.
This all started years ago, working as a tour guide for a company in Madrid. I spent a long time walking these streets, telling stories, meeting people from all over the world, and realizing something, I wanted to do this my way.
So I decided to take the leap.
I studied history at university, but what really shaped me was being out here, day after day, learning the city, getting lost in it, and finding the stories that don’t always make it into the books. I’m originally from Mexico, but Madrid became home. And somewhere between its streets, its history, and its chaos, I found something I didn’t want to let go of. When I’m not giving tours, I’m usually playing violin with my group. Music and history have something in common, they’re both about emotion, rhythm, and telling a story that stays with you. That’s exactly what I try to do in every tour. Over the years, I’ve met all kinds of people, curious travelers, history lovers, and even those who thought they didn’t like tours, until they did this one.
